A lot of people commenting on here are rude to you. Sorry. I don't particularly like or hate Britney for her singing. (I'll leave her personal life out of this.) I think you posed a very good question and backed it up with good evidence. She's either not in good vocal shape due to lack of training these days, or the cigarette smoking has ruined her voice. Oh, well. She had it good there for a little while.
