If you can't play at any other stage but Final Destination and Co. then you suck at getting an advantage from the field, and therefore, you're not a good player, as you can't adapt to your conditions. It's the same with the lag; if you can't play with lag, you're not as skilled as you think, because you cannot adapt to the environment around you.
If you don't tolerate Items, then you're not as skilled to be able to use them, and, consequently, you're a person who shouldn't be playing any Smash Bros. game and thinks of excuses such as "they're for noobs". In fact, you're the noob for not being able to handle them.
By the way, I have a new policy: I won't accept fags who give excuses about "Oh, you may have beaten me 90% of the times we've played, but you haven't beaten me at my 100% final form in Super Saiyan 4 with dragon balls included" or "I never try my best"; that's all bullshit and shittalk. I will be the one who determines when I've beaten you at your full potential for real, not you.
Summaryzing, you might be good at playing the Hardcore way or the Fun way, but, in my opinion, if you can't do both of them, you're not a complete brawler, and therefore, you're not enjoying the game at its 100%.
