You know I really like Europeans, but I noticed something today.

I was in England at the beginning of the Iraq war, and there was a large antiwar protest at Hyde Park. The three-and-a-half mile march that was organized by Stop the War Coalition, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and the Muslim Association of Britain. In Pubs Londoners would approach me voicing their displeasure at US foreign policy.

Russia has just invaded another country, namely Georgia. So where are the protests?

Why is it that if an American burns a Dixie cup, they can fill the streets in virtually any European country blasting the US about Global Warming, But China, and India can pollute all they wish, they are silent.

Why is it that Europeans detest Guantanamo bay, but are indifferent when countries like Syria have even larger numbers of Political Prisoners, like Antiwar al-Bunni and Kamal Labwani.

Why is it that if an American forgets to lift the toilet seat up they will protest, but if some country is practicing Ethnic cleansing, they are too busy to care.
