My name is Sandra Sparks. Speruoc is the ancient spelling of my last name, and how most people on the Internet have known me from one time or another. We arrived at Sparks by God knows what mispronunciation over the years: I prefer my oldest name.

I performed as a solo folk musician for twenty years before I performed with the Georgia Renaissance Festival from 1989 until 2002, both alone and with Susan Hickey and in the group Greenway Sparks. I also performed with the group An Drasda until 1999.
