- this youtube page is dedicated to help new shufflers imrprove on their style. As i never got help from the better dancers (except a few) and it pissed me off. So goodluck to all you newcomers to the melbourne shuffle. I don't care about people copying my moves, i copied some as well, we all do :)

I think all styles are good. I usually don't pay anyone out, at least they're having a go ey. I hate people telling me "this is how it should be done" -- there is no exact methods to shuffle, except the basics and from there you can be creative as you like. Then its about perfecting those moves, making them look sharp and stylish.

It took me about a year and a half to get real good. I practised a fair bit, and i wen't out alot. Most people i've taught have picked it up lots quicker than me, as i've never been a gifted dancer - it was all hard work. I haven't been going out much lately, but i still like to dance a bit at home or at a mates house if we are all gettin drunk :)
