You have my last name and are probably a shirt-tail relative. My ancestors, three brothers, came to America from Holland in circa 1664. The family settled in Amagansett, New York and one of them helped build Wall Street.

Anyway, I have some of the Schellenger history, but I don't know it by heart. From what I understand, the Schellenger's migrated to California, and Indiana. I once spoke to a Schellenger in the Pasadena area and it was very strange. We talked for hours, like we knew each other.

I don't know about your family, but our family is full of musicians , dabbled in stage, television, radio, politics, film---Most are known to be highly intelligent, loners, kind-hearted, honorable, but don't rile them.
