I remember being about 9 and playing with my brothers in the cold, rusty-colored waters on the shore of Lake Michigan by the beach behind my grandparents' Breezy Point Tavern near Escanaba. We normally found weatherworn driftwood chunks to heave into the water or pointy sticks to play with, the thrillseekers that we were, but, this one day I remember two foreign boys about our age appeared out of nowhere.

Turns out they only spoke french. I couldn't tell you what they said because it was all greek to me.

But, it didn't matter. We played the whole day, hour after hour without understanding a single word. We had a terrific time somehow anyhow. I guess that's kinda why I like youtube. It's full of interesting, random people with all kinds of entertaining skills and talents. If you take your time to post a clever or random youtube or both THANKS! Really.
