My dream is to direct films. On YouTube, that probably doesn't make me too unique. But this is not my hobby - this is my passion. I love movies on all different levels. To me, the idea of going to a theatre, standing in front of a marquee, and THEN choosing what movie to see is absurd. Truly good films can change who you are as a person. Every time I see a new film - or even one I've seen before - I prepare to be moved and driven to be a better person.
If you could go back in time, who would you meet?
Truman Capote. He was fascinating. Absolutely incredible. My heart aches when I realize that I can never know him.

Intereses y aficiones: Movies are my passion, of course. My sister and I have a jewelry business - it is really fun to make and sell and we actually take in a fair amount of cash. I love fishing and kayaking and hiking and biking - anything in nature, really. At school, I'm on debate team (no small feat, I assure you), gay/straight alliance, and I'm president of the international film club. Well, I was elected co-president, but my partner-in-office dropped out. I am the videography crew head for drama, which means I am in charge of filming and editing most theatre events. This crew was actually created when the theatre teacher saw something I had filmed. I also volunteer with Fair Wisconsin, which works for gay rights.
Películas y espectáculos: Well, listing favorite movies is ridiculous. How can one choose? How can movies of such different genres compare? I can offer you this - my list of dvds that I own: Donnie Darko The Rocky Horror Picture Show Run Lola Run Brokeback Mountain Capote Apocalypse Now A History of Violence Borat Knocked Up Shaun of the Dead Scarface Goodfellas The Departed Napoleon Dynamite Saved! Holes High School Musical Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon House of Flying Daggers Harry Potter 1-5 Chronicles of Narnia Pirates of the Caribbean The Bourne Identity The Bourne Supremacy The Bourne Ultimatum Spider-Man Spider-Man 2 X-Men X2 Batman Begins Sin City Transformers All 3 Lord of the Rings in that special extended edition thing. I own seasons 1 & 2 of The OC and season 1 of Lost, and I have The Daily Show and The Colbert Report on my iPod. I especially love The Colbert Report. And Stephen, Therefore, I LOVE Strangers With Candy. I am a Queer As Folk fanatic. To broaden my horizons in film, I have read Roger Ebert's The Great Movies and The Great Movies II. I am working my way through every film he mentioned, crossing them off as I go. I have not been disappointed yet in my viewings.

Libros: Harry Potter. Well, duh. I'll cry when it's over... To Kill a Mockingbird!! My favorite book of all time! Holes. Looove Holes. John Steinbook books - The Grapes of Wrath, The Pearl, Of Mice and Men, The Pony, Cannery Row, Tortilla Flat...it's all excellent. Truman Capote, of course. And In Cold Blood IS his masterpiece. Brilliance. Chuck Klosterman is very funny, I should add.
