Cellos and celloing. Braving the cold of Chicago as my feet make crunching noises in the snow. Born and raised in Arizona, I set out to embark on this incredible journey of music. I've learned and listened to the composers and conductors of the classical world and my heart has always craved the rock stage. Thanks to my family, cello teachers, mentors,friends, musicians, and my students, its time for the melody.

Michelle will be joining the 14 finalists as a member of the "My Grammy Moment" orchestra. Led Zeppelin's legendary multi-instrumentalist John Paul Jones will arrange a special orchestral version of the Foo Fighters' hit single "The Pretender" and will serve as special guest conductor of the Foo Fighters' orchestra. The segment, presented by Gibson Guitar, will take place outside in the new Nokia Plaza in the L.A. Live complex across from the STAPLES Center. The 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards, to be held on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, is scheduled to be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). "My GRAMMY Moment 2008," sponsored by Chase, will have content also available across the CBS Audience Network and its more than 200 online partners.

thats wierd because, well i dont play the cello, i play violin but i am also from arizona and we moved to chicago last year i was born in arizona but we lived in alabama to and then moved to california for about a year then back to arizona then to chicago last year but i think we are gioing to stay here. its cuz of my dads job. i love orchestra!! i am also in band, i play clarinet

Thats the best cello cover of The Pretnder I have hear. The way you play I think would like this Finnish cello group Apocalyptica. You can have alot of fun with their music.
