This channel is home to some great acoustic music by Mark Wilderspin and Alex West who perform a mix of originals and covers in solo and in duo mode.

Alex and I are currently working on a new album which we hope to have ready for late summer. (Hear streaming audio at www.wildewest.co.uk )

We will also record some decent audio versions of some of our favorite covers for free distribution on YT and elsewhere.

Can I also say a big thanks to Richard Shindell who's wonderful music has been a great new source of inspiration during the last three years and provided many hours of priviledged pleasure for myself, Alex and the audiences we have played it to.

It was great playing host to the man himself in summer 2007 in Minchinhampton - several clips from that event being available here.

To answer those who have asked about my guitars, I use two 12 string guitars. My main instrument is still my 1969 EKO Ranger which I've had since new in 1970 and which is now permanently tuned to DADGAD. It has a wonderful warm tone and I never grow tired of playing it. It was completely refurbished in May 2007 (see my website for details - www.markwilderspin.com).

The other is an Ovation Custom Legend which I've had since 2002. A good instrument but better for amplified performance.

I ofen get asked for details about how I play stuff and also chord tabs and lyrics but I'm really useless at this so apologies if I don't respond as much as I should.
