I wish you the best of luck and hope your game comes out eventually, as I would love to try it out. It's not often messages so controversial are carried in the game medium. Keep up the good work.

mr. wafaa
i hope your coming back around. but remember.....being sane in an insane world would be insane in itself. "i choose to live and to laugh not because it matters, but because that choice is the bent of my nature. the reason i say i choose is because i see. its not that i choose to go on living......my will makes me go on living in spite of anything i may see." -'the teachings of don juan' by carlos castaneda |

Actually, characterizing *any* group of people in a negative way is dehumanizing them. Whether they be "Bushies" or what have you.
I wish people would remember that before they point the finger at someone else's prejudices, they should make sure they aren't doing something similar - because as long as we are in the blamer mode, we are not going to create anything but resentment. |

The blind loyalty of the Bushies and other warmongers is leading us towards a nationalist military state, if they're not with us, they're against us. Is there no compassion? No respect for human life? Because that's what we are, humans. If you were born in another country, say a poorer one, and raised in a different culture would you still love America so much, the land of the free? Would you not feel even the slightest resentment, the land of the greedy? I'm an American, and I believe this is (or could be) the greatest country in the world, but the lack of intelligence and awareness and compassion that's becoming the norm here is causing me to lose my faith. Such gross materialism and sense of entitlement is disgusting. I wish that such people in their next lives are born in Iraq. Oh wait, there is no next life, well I guess you're just going to burn in hell ain't you.

I went to the page out of curiosity and a childish desire to shoot at a person sitting in room somewhere far away. then i thought better of it. this man is putting himself through a month of this torture. mild torture yes but its still emotionally and mentally draining. i think if people understand the messages behind this work they will get a more profound understanding of the very likely future of warfare, technology, foreign relations, etc. Wafaa said that he thought of the idea when he watched a video of military personnel shooting missiles at Iraqis from a base in Colorado while watching live video feeds. Apparently the intelligence was good, they were bad guys, end of story. This thought is appalling and quite scary to me.

And it's everyone else's choice whether or not to shoot. It's not like he's hurting anyone. If people choose to shot, then they should consider the consequences of their actions too.
