I have actually transformed bacteria in the laboratory where they have incorporated the GFP protein. The transformed colonies fluoresce under UV light. It was a pretty cool experiment. This award is well-deserved.

If you are going to insult someone, don't misspell three different words. (Otherwise, people might accuse you of being ignorant).

The point of this video is that the entire flagellum is a vestigial structure. Vestigial means anything that is around that no longer performs its original function. The parts of the flagellum were modified from existing proteins.
