DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
I was shocked to learn just now that our armed forces are not getting access to effective techniques for dealing with PTSD.
This technique is one of many 'energy medicine' techniques that are dismissed out of hand by mainstream medical doctors, yet it has rapid and profound results.
As soon as I realised this, I literally sat down, recorded this video on my webcam and uploaded it. Sorry for the low production quality but the content is clear enough and easy to follow. I hope it helps someone.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a Doctor, PTSD is a medical condition for which you should seek professional medical advice. This video is offered as a complementary solution only and you use it at your own risk.
Alright guys. This is your no bullsh#t guide for dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and really any nasty memory that you would rather forget.
I don't know why this technique isn't more widely available, but there you go.
You can thank a wonderful woman called Tapas Fleming for developing this method. It's called Tapas Acupressure Technique.
1. Take your thumb and your fourth finger, and pinch the nose, putting your fingers in the top of your eye socket.
2. Then put your middle finger directly between your eyebrows in the dip above your nose.
3. Now put your other hand on the back of your head, just below the ridge.
That's it. Hold the pose and think of the memory. You will find that it gets easier to deal with. hold it for about 4 minutes. Don't do this for more than 20 minutes each day.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a simple acupressure technique for releasing negative feelings.
You feel negative feelings in the body, so you have to go to the body to work on them. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is one way to do this.
You can release a negative feeling right now with this video. In this introductory video I explain a little bit about how Tapping works and take you through your first few sessions.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How hard should I tap? A: Tap lightly, just so that you feel it. The purpose of the tapping is to bring your attention to different parts of your body, it actually works if you just imagine tapping - as long as your attention is drawn to the right points.
Q: How can I be sure I am finding the right points? A: Use two fingers to make sure you cover the points. Sometimes the point will 'feel' right, as if there is a slight indent in the skin or the point is particularly sensitive. It's all connected so you don't have to be 100% accurate.
Q: You have missed out points that Gary Craig teaches! A: Yes. Feel free to tap those too, I left them out to keep the video simple and it seems to work fine without them. If you find the video doesn't work for you, try tapping the additional points - around the top-middle of the head, and just under the armpit.
Q: Is the sequence important? A: No. You can tap the points in any order. In fact you only need to tap one or two of the points for each particular feeling. It's just you have no easy way to know which point so you might as well tap them all.

Q: I am a skeptic! / You are a charlatan! A: Thanks. Tapping is perfectly explainable scientifically but it does go beyond most people's understanding. It really does work though, and the best way to prove that to yourself is to try it and watch your negative feelings disappear.
