***To get the tempo past 500, make sure your song is saved first, then go to the directory where Mario Paint Composer was extracted, go to Prefs, and open up the song you're working on in Notepad. The digits at the end of the bottommost line represent the tempo, simply change them and overwrite the file.
There are a couple spots where the ships are barely audible. I'm aware of these but I don't know how to fix them. :(
