The reason no one disagreeing with Joe has any answers is because he bans people who disagree with him and deletes their comments.

He has a very odd conception of what "Americanism" is.

Joe, I noticed that the people disagreeing with you have no answers to these problems. It is just refreshing to hear anyone talking about solutions to real problems....and wanting a president that will be president of the national interest. One who wants to help every citizen...not just a select group. It is clear that every problem is too complex for a simple popular solution. Most of the huge problems we have now exist because good intentions have had awful consequences. We need a good chess player!

I would really like to see health savings accounts more available. Companies offer Flex accounts because they make money from any unused money in the accounts at the end of the year...but the government could offer health savings account to everyone.

You should also own up to your right wing antecedents. These are talking points direct from the Republican playbook. You can say you are aiming this at McCain, but your target is Obama and trying to suppress the vote. I hope you aren't successful in keeping people from exercising their vote.

Who paid you? You are very loose with your "facts" . We don't have all the oil you say. Are you counting shell oil and the off shore and the Alaska oil? All of which are very difficult to reach. Perhaps we should go after them . But Joe are you going to keep driving pick-up trucks and SUV's to get the kids to their soccer games.

Joe - check your facts - the oil companies leases are on land that contains 80% of the proven resources.

I am not even suggesting socialization is the right idea - I am just saying that the government has already done all it can.

You need to understand that general principles of economics means that the oil companies have NO INCENTIVE to drill more. They just want to control the resources - not get them out to lower the prices! Demand is stagnant - it will not increase as the price drops (not by much anyway) - so increased supply just means their profits drop.

You blame the government when the oil companies are to blame. SO - unless you are suggesting socialization, their hands are tied.
