I've been around the Youtube community for roughly two years and use it mostly to attempt to express myself in writing or music, although my sound recording equipment is unfortunately crap. I began writing heavily during my sophomore year of high school, though fellow students and teachers said that I had a knack for it. I don't particularly agree, but let people have their opinion. =P I began playing guitar a little earlier, around the age of 14. When I became confident enough to break into new styles, I began studying jazz fusion exclusively. Still a long way to go.
