songs made by my favorite guitar hereos:)
yes, I practice guitar by recording cover songs, transcribing solos/songs and i'm learning as much music theory as i can at the moment.

i try to compose & record my own music
whenever possible(i plan to make my
own album within 1-2 years, but
probably for my ears only hehe!)

i enjoy doing covers because they're so much fun :)

here are my answers to some of
your most frequently asked questions:

Q: what software do you use to split the
videos?
A: I use sony vegas (7.0)!

Q.how do you make the drum tracks? and can
you PLEASE send me the backing tracks/tabs to ****,****?

A: i sequence each drum sound
(kick, snare, cymbal, hihat etc..)
with midi using cakewalk sonar
(+velocity drum sampler and various
wav samples), then mixdown using
audition(cool edit).

A: i'm sorry i cannot send you my music files and/or tabs. my international mail account handles large files very poorly - and i've been
getting 500+ mails requesting tabs and
backing tracks - believe me i've tried
sending them out many times, but i cannot
possibly send out 500+ mails of backing tracks! u can find good backing tracks
at guitarbt.com.

tabbing the music yourself is a very good
way to improve your pitch recognition and
for ear traininig. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME
FOR TABS! there are a lot of good sources
of tabs out there on the internet. it's
best to just use tabs for a quick reference
and rely more on your ears!

Q: how long have you been playing guitar?
i got my first electric guitar
(a fender squire strat)in 1998-
but took a two year break because
of school(and because i sucked so
much i quit playing), then i
served in the army for 2 years
(it's mandatory for every male
in south korea)
- i got into practicing seriously
around 2004.

Q: what is your main gear/amp?
i don't record using an amp.
i use a line6 toneport ux1 to
'simulate' all my guitar sounds
and record direct to the computer
mixer. the amp and cabinet i use
most is the J-800 and 4x12 brit celest T-75s

I have 2 (main) guitars:
1. fernandes v with emg 81/85 pickups
2. US dime dean rebel razorback

i do however, have some effect pedals
for live gigs (dimebag dunlop crybaby
from hell wah, mxr dimebag distortion,
boss delay, boss eq, AKG wireless system)
