As you can see Claude Rains is my favourite actor. I've seen over 450 classic (before 1974) movies in my life, all of which i remember distinctly. The only movie i have not seen is Island of Lost Souls.

I see you have a lot of tributes to the old time greats. I too, love Claude Rains. He was just excellent in anything he was ever in. Your background is really neat. He was not my favorite Phantom however, but oh well. I love how animated he was in Casablanca. There are many of his films I have seen, but many I have not. I loved him in Casablanca more than anything I think. When it comes to playing someone to be pitied, oh my, let the crying begin. Whether he was a serious heavy, a sad lonely person, or light and gay, he was alway cool about it. Great!!
