I know you probably get asked this all the time, but where did you learn how to make your own Shamisen. I have been looking around the internet but have not been able to find anything. I think building your own would be so much more rewarding than if you just bought one off of ebay. Well if you can tell me anything it would be awesome. And if not, then I understand, I still enjoy all your videos of you building and playing your shamsien. Cheers.

Thanks for your comment on my video, if not for you and the inspiring Shamisen play, I would never have picked up my instrument again (the last time was 7 years ago). (^__^) Haha, just you wait until my Bamboo flute arrive safely from Asia, and then, you'll get some super cool traditional chinese/Japanese flute pieces that will chill your spine. LOL

What kind of strings did you use and also where did you get your Bachi ??
