Is this really Derek Webb? Well, on the chance that you actually read this, I just want to tell you how much of an inspiration you've been to me. It was your music, along with Caedmon's Call and Bethany Dillon, that really got me into playing the guitar and singing folk music. I've always been into music, but now folk is my thing and I love it so much - now I write my own songs, just me and the guitar, hoping I'll come across some people at my college who are interested in forming a band...haha, maybe I'll be somebody's "Danielle" someday. Just, thanks, man, because you are one of the things that got me going with really writing and exploring through the medium of music the deeper messages and themes of Scripture. You rock, and I listen to your stuff all the time for inspiration. :*)
