The Globos 14 Vídeos
THE GLOBOS, a musical comedy cabaret group, was founded in Melbourne in 1980 by MARK TREVORROW and WENDY DE WAAL. The group mimed old records and commercials, in a loving and hilarious recreation of early Australian TV pop shows, and then recorded (and mimed!) their own material. They signed to Mushroom Records in 1982 and achieved two Australian Top 20 hits: TINTARELLA DI LUNA (1982) & THE BEAT GOES ON (1983). After establishing a cult following in hometown Melbourne, The Globos hit big at Sydney's legendary KINSELAS cabaret in 1982 and made many TV appearances. Along with Mark Trevorrow and Wendy de Waal, group members between 1980-1986 included JANE MARKEY, GABRIELLE HEALY, DAVID PLEDGER, KIM TRENGOVE, JANE TURNER, GRETA MENDOZA, TRACEY CALLANDER, ROBERT THOMPSON, JULIE BAILUE, NELL SCHOFIELD, ELEANOR PAYNE and the late TIM CONIGRAVE. GINA RILEY, KAARIN FAIRFAX, SIMON BURKE, ALAN WILSON, KATHRYN RIDING and GEORGE HUXLEY also made appearances with the group.

Noel Coward 10 Vídeos
The Master.
He only made ONE television special, in 1955 - and it's a corker. TOGETHER WITH MUSIC was a 90-minute special - Live, in Color! - with the late, great MARY MARTIN. The double audio album featuring the original soundtrack is a famous collector's item. Here is the incredibly rare FOOTAGE from the show! |

Hey Mark/ Bob
Remember seeing the Starman spoof on Viva Cabaret as a teenager- my whole family were in absolute stitches, having never seen anything quite like it. I'd been trying for ages to get hold off it on Youtube and finally have- it now takes pride of place as the main video on my page! Hope all is well! Stu (aka dannyboybrighton) ;-) (PS. "Walk towards the light! Walk towards the light!" lol) |

Hey Mark/Bob!
Finally tracked you down to YouTube and must say I'm loving all the videos! When are you coming back to the UK for a tour? Can't wait to see you again, it's been years since we last met up!! Keep in touch! Dr. Nick (from Leeds) :o) |

I do miss old Blighty (esp. my many friends there) but I have to say that Sydney's the town for me. the sun shines more often than not - even in winter - and I look at that blue, blue harbour and my heart skips a crazy beat.
And I ADORED appearing on GNW, esp. when it meant singing with Paul. They haven't asked me to do it this season - I think I might be a tad too old for the Channel Ten demo these days! It really doesn't bother me - my ABC local radio work in Sydney gives me all the broadcast fix I need. ;-) |

Hey there Bob, of course it's you I know now.
So apart from our glorious weather what has kept you away from the our UK tv? It was a great time for comedy I think the mid 80's and on where we had lots of new acts and new styles but now we just shimmy slowly. :'( Come back with a big wobble for us!!!!! Hope all is well buddy mike |

I think we all agree, we need to see Mark/Bob on GNW .. and a duet with Paul would be awesome, this series is definitely lacking in that area!!
