What is your favorite song?

Ha, you were afflicted with "invisable post syndrome". It happens to the best of us. I use a Creative Live! Cam and inexpensive Labtec wand style microphone. I record in the Creative Labs bundled recording software, import that into Windows Movie Maker whether it needs editing or not, then compile the movie in WMV format for upload to youtube.

I see you only tried the one time to upload a video. It didn't have any sound, have you figured out a solution yet? I had similar problems when I first started.

Call me lost then.
