DancePrancePonyJr: I understand where you're coming from. Often times I prefer playing by myself. That way I don't have to compete with people or attempt to adapt my style to fit someone else's wants/likes/dislikes. I do enjoy jamming with friends when we're all on the same page and playing the same thing, though. There's nothing like that feeling when it all just clicks.

that's cool! the reason i asked is because i'm sort of trying to get a band together but it's going nowhere fast and i wanted to know if you've had any experience in a band. I also just play with friends and stuff, but i'd realy like to get together with some of my friends as some sort of band or something and just make stuff up and play a few song covers. mostly i just go to my friends' houses and we'll play a few songs back and forth but not really togther... like i'll play the intro of a song or something, then my friend will play something copletely different or we'll be playing two different songs at once an it'll sound wierd and one of us will eventually stop after getting tired of competing with the other's amp.

oh yeah, i'm definitely doing stellar first. I practice for like 5 hours today and I've pretty much have the whole song down. :D
