It's hard to understand why some have it so much easier, especially as we consider that they may not be of faith or that they pursue wickedness to get their ways. We wonder where is God in all of this or why doesn't He make it different.
Well through Prayer we find God and the realization that through Him we can lay it at His feet and find peace and comfort in the knowledge that our reward is to come through the path of righteousness. Trust in his name and in the power of His might and we will have the strength even as the world seems to crumble around us.
Verses used:
Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. Job 21:7 and 8
Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him? Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me. How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger. They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away. Job 21:14-18
Curse the Lord and die Job 2:9
For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty Job 15:15
Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite? Job 22:5
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:26
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive Matthew 21:22

We all sin and fall short of the glory of God...
Without a doubt each of us sin, we give in to temptation or indulge ourselves were we know we shouldn't. Let's face it, at times we take the power from God and claim it as our own, and there we find ourselves stumbling before our fall.
But in that we can find peace knowing that no sin is so great that it can not be forgiven by God, no arrogance so proud as not to be overcome by God and there, in our weakest we just have to humble ourselves to him and he will give us the strength.
Pray for the power and for His mercy and it shall be received.

Conversations with God.
We are told by Jesus that, in our faith, we are to pray in private, not to make a display or a show out of it. It is not because our faith is something we are to be afraid of or ashamed of but because God wants us to be open and honest with Him, He wants to reveal things to us when we are able to listen and not trying to make a spectacle. Prayer is a personal expression of our faith between us and God, conversations with our Creator and it should never be made showy or to look like theater. So pray unceasingly but pray with an open heart to the Lord
Verses Used:
"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." Matthew 6:6
"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward." Matthew 6:5
The Story of Samuel's Conversation with God: First Samuel 3
"And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth." 1 Samuel 3:12
"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit." Psalms 51:10-12

The power of prayer in our lives.
The challenges that we face need wisdom, knowledge and strength. But where are we to find it? We can look amidst this world, we could spend a lifetime looking amidst this world and yet find ourselves no closer to the answers that quench the longing and the thirst of our souls. Our we can turn to God, taking our doubts, our fears, our questions and laying them at his feet in prayer, finding that he will never leave us or forsake us.
The choice is yours...
Verses Used:
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5

When we humble ourselves before the Lord, realizing that the power for our victories come
When we humble ourselves before the Lord, realizing that the power for our victories come from His name we know only the triumphs of the soul. In that we must remember that God seeks not the glory for the sake of glory, there are other ways he could otherwise obtain it, but so that we know where our strength comes from in the challenges of this world. May we push forward in His name and in the precious love our Savior through the gifts of the spirit.
Verses used:
"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." 1 Peter 5:7-9
The Story of Gideon: Judges 6-8
"The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me. Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead" Joshua 7:2 and 3
"The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go" Joshua 7:4
"Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD." Jeremiah 1:8
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8 and 9

We face deep challenges amidst the world today for our faith, and yet throughout the bible
We face deep challenges amidst the world today for our faith, and yet throughout the bible we are told of those who have went against the power of darkness, against wickedness in high places and they prevailed by the power of God, whose armor protected them. As we find ourselves soldiers for Christ remember, in faith, to put on the whole armor of God, to be strengthened in his power and his might, knowing that come what may it will withstand all that may come.
Verses used:
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:10-12

In faith we are admonished to fight the good fight, realizing that amidst the world there
In faith we are admonished to fight the good fight, realizing that amidst the world there are challenges and adversities that we face as we wage war against the powers of sin, death and the devil. Yet, as we find ourself in that battle we realize we are called to faith, we are called to be warriors in the invincible armies of the Lord. Come what may or come the entire world the simple reality is that we are not alone, we have the power of God, the love of Christ and the call of the Spirit beside us and protecting us.
So proudly fight that battle as soldiers for Christ, never relenting or yielding on the path to righteousness.

The Feeding of the Five Thousand - The Gospel According to St. Luke 9:10-16
"Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat." 2 Thessalonians 3:6-10
