it dosnt hurt a bit, actually the worst part is the clamp pressing onto your lip. aha i had to ask the piercer if it was done :S
and for the scars, i had a Monroe i had to take out. and the scar isint that bad, it just looks like a little pimple if you look close at it, but they are barely visible. then again it all depends on how long you had it in for. (the longer the more noticeable the scar is)
