Heath Ledger was a generous, artistic spirit who at least left some of himself to us in roles we know he carefully chose and enthusiastically embraced.

And now, with the recent release of The Dark Knight, without question Heath Ledger's Joker is perhaps the most brilliant character an actor ever crafted for the big screen. Having said this, the entire cast and crew of this film also deserve recognition for creating one of the most complex and thought-provoking films ever made--and that's not even mentioning the powerhouse of entertainment it delivers in rapid, successive, take-your-breath-away blows.
