Wow - what a fabulous collection of folk festival videos you have! I will share your channel with my husband who's been going to festival since he was a little boy. He'll get a kick out of it. Thanks for posting all this wonderful music.

I've down loaded a couple of versions of this song by John and though I like them all, this performance is the one I like the best! Thanks for being there and thanks for bringing it here.

I attended my first PFF in 1976. I could play 3 songs all the way through while remembering the words and keeping time. I learned that better musicians would play with me if I could do that.

I vowed to learn 10 songs for the following year. I did. And I learned at least that many every year for the next 18 and I didn't miss a festival. In 1987, I took my new daughter, she was less than three months old. I traveled from as far away as Houston TX to get there.

I can't tell you how much it means to me to see those old clips. I guess you've figured out that I was there for many of them.

Really enjoy The Philly Folk Festival clips,,,We will definitely get there.Stayed one summer a lifetime ago (1982) over near Coatsville for the VA Hospital. Beautiful country driving into Philly on St. Route 30 for Library at Villanova. Love your channel and videos.
