Politkovskaya? She was a Ukrainian-American. So Russia's internal affairs shouldn't have been her business. Nobody in Russia cared about her. Most Russians have never ever heard about Politkovskaya before her death. So you see, she wasn't important or dangerous. Apart from that there is absolutely no evidence that the Russian government was involved.

Well, you claim that Russia is undemocratic. Certainly we're a new democracy and our country can't be compared to tiny Sweden. Nevertheless we're not less democratic than other powers like USA, GB, China etc. But the negative sides of Russia are totally overemphasized in EU/NATO countries, since Russia is enemy n°1 to them. Don't trust CNN etc. At least 90% of what they show is simply wrong or shown in a wrong misguiding context.
Concerning Putin: He's with no doubt the most competent president we have ever had. Of course, he's a politician and not an angel.

i'm syrian ya akhi, but i put a lot of pro russian videos on my channel because russia is at with georgia and i wanna expose the west and show support for our russian allies, as u you a lot of people are driven by the western media and they beilve what ever bush says, so i stand with russia at war and peace because russia does the same thing to us.

Well, maybe. But I think Russia is the only possible ally you could have against Turks, Americans, Israelis and we need reliable allies in the Middle East aswell. Today al-Assad made a proposal to deploy Russian Iskander missile-defense systems on Syrian territory in response to US missile shield in Europe. Sounds good. :)
