Hey Everyone:

I took down the video : Who are you Hurting today because it was portraying the wrong image to some people. The video was a promo joke for their Rear Naked Choke shirt that I was wearing..nothing more. But those who have been slanderous towards are really pushing the issue (thanks for the threats to me, my school and my family...real classy guys!)

This could be better answered over at our forum as we have several 10th Planet instructors and other BJJ instructors on our site. But the short answer is: no guard is 100% or is a magic bullet. Jason Day used it very well a couple of UFC back. Watch Aioki in DREAM for some great RG! More and more fighters are using it but it will be interesting to see a RG master in the ring.

I don't leave comments much, but I want to leave one to tell you guys that you're the best. I feel like I've learned so much by your videos. I do have one question, though.

I recently watched ufc 86 and saw a few people trying to use rubber guard. Why did it not work for them? Was it because they're not experienced enough or is it because their opponent was too aggressive for them to pull off the rubber guard? I saw that one person was using the rubber guard "incorrectly" by not trapping the shoulder while in...uh... mission control? by hugging his knee. But I'm not sure. Just curious because I haven't seen the rubber guard pulled off sucessfully yet. Unless there's some other ufc fight somewhere that you could point out to me that has.
