I apologize if I seem overzealous with my comments but I've tried alot and got no results...I've been doing plyometrics for some time and I have trouble regulating doing plyos for the legs and weight lifting for the legs throughout the week to gain power...would you personally consider it "overworking" the muscles if I were to work out the legs 5 days a week...per say Mon-(plyos);Tues-(wieght);Wed-

Thanks for you comment aktyty. Plyometrics is about quality of movement. It trains your nervous systems ability to control the muscle reflexes. This improves your ability to load and unload the muscles as fast as possible. If your bounding, 3 x 10 reps is best. Weight lifting and sprinting will best add strength and condition to the muscles themselfs, giving them more capacity. It's the plyometrics that will give you the skill and ability to fully use this capacity.
Keep jumping!! Simon Hunt |

when doing plyometrics should the excersizes be stressfull. What I mean is should one do as many reps as possible per set until they feel the lactid acid build up in there muscles. For instance 3 sets of 20 reps of bounding. Must these excersizes be stressfull in order to see postive gains or not stressfull at all.
