On the night of Friday the 13th in June of 2008 / the next morning, RiptideX1090 and I have made a bet regarding the appearance of Mephiles in the upcoming Sonic game, Sonic Unleashed.

According to the Wikipedia article on Sonic Unleashed, Eggman "has called forth a slumbering beast from the center of the Earth[7], which causes such devastating tremors that the planet shatters into pieces."

The bet is as follows: Josh (Rip) wagers that the demon-esque purple dragon monster we have been given a picture preview of, and the "beast" mentioned in the article, is actually the remnants of Mephiles the Dark.

I, ShadnicK826, say that the purple dragon has no relation to Mephiles whatsoever, and though I believe Mephiles is not a character we will never see again in the Sonic Franchise, he will not have an appearance in Sonic Unleashed.

The reward in the case of me winning the bet: Josh must make an AMV using whatever song and theme I so choose, must dedicate said AMV completely to me, and must praise me in the description.
The reward in the case of Josh winning the bet: I must provide him with all Sonic Unleashed scenes within 5 days of the release date/the day I buy it (which will be the same day lol), all Sonic '06 clips WITHOUT SUBTITLES AND BG MUSIC, and all in-game dialogue for Sonic '06.

The punishment for the loser: a bulletin must be posted once everyday for a week praising the winner and his accomplishments, telling why he is so much better than said loser, and admitting total and utter defeat.
