All of those guys are sick. Jack, Vinnie, Bill Stewart. Those are some serious monster players. I think every drummer has something unique about them which you notice in their playing. None of it bad, just all of it different.

Well, I really like anything Brian Blade is a part of. Some of the Joshua Redman recordings are amazing. Also he has done some Wayne Shorter, and Chris Potter stuff that is outstanding. Some classic guys like Tony Williams, and elvin Jones are great. I like some old groups like the Oscar Peterson Trio, with Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen. Also the Ray Brown Trio is fantastic, especially with Jeff Hamilton on drums.
