The overall plan entailed the sending of messengers across the ages to bring guidance to mankind. For God to come down in person would seem as a change of plan on God's side in accommodation to man's misbehavior. It is not becoming of the Omnipotent God to adapt to accommodate man.

The concept of a God coming down to earth and undertaking all that suffering on himself defies the definition of an Omnipotent God. To suggest that God undertook all that suffering on himself because he so much loved man is not at all convincing. Since God's love for man cannot be increased by having to suffer himself, that scenario seems totally unnecessary. Instead, God's love is expressed in His mercy, compassion and forgiveness.

***GOD'S PROMISE TO ABRAHAM (P)***

"I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

(Genesis 12:2-3)

The Prophet Mohammad (P) is a direct decendent of Ishmael (P) Abraham's first born, but some Christians might argue the Ishmael is the illegitimate son of Abraham because his mother was a maidservent.

**The legitimacy of Ishmael from the Bible**

"I will make the son of the maidservant into a nation also, because he is your offspring."
(Genesis 21:13)

"....for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his."
(Deuteronomy 21:17)

***THE PROPHECY OF MOHAMMAD THE UNLETTERED PROPHET***

"Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures) in the law and the Gospel" (Quran 7:157)

Almighty God speaks to Moses in Book of Deuteronomy 18:18

"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him."

The Christians say that this prophecy refers to Jesus (p) because Jesus (p) was like Moses (p). Moses (p) was a Jew, as well as Jesus (p) was a Jew. Moses (p) was a Prophet and Jesus (p) was also a Prophet.

If these two are the only criteria for this prophecy to be fulfilled, then all the Prophets of the Bible who came after Moses (p) such as Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. (pt) will fulfill this prophecy since all were Jews as well as prophets.

However, it is Prophet Mohammad (p) who is like Moses (p):

**Both had a father and a mother, while Jesus (pbuh) was born miraculously without any male intervention.

**Both were married and had children. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not marry nor had children.

**Both died natural deaths. Jesus (pbuh) has been raised up alive.

**Mohammad (p) is from among the brethren of Moses (p). Arabs are brethren of Jews. Abraham (p) had two sons: Ishmail and Isaac (pt). The Arabs are the descendants of Ishmail (p) and the Jews are the descendants of Isaac (p).

**Both were accepted as Prophets by their people in their lifetime but Jesus (p) was rejected by his people. (John 1:11) states, "He came unto his own, but his own received him not."

**Both brought new laws and new regulations for their people. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not bring any new laws. (Mathew 5:17-18).

Prophet Mohammad (p) is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon 5:16

"Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem."

"His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem."

***JESUS (P) SAID***

Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.
(Matthew 21:43)

Jesus said, "....I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God."
(John 20:17)

"By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
(John 5:30)

***To those who idolised and worshipped Jesus (P) he will say***

Not everyone who calls me their Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven. Only the ones who obey my Father in heaven will get in. On the day of judgment many will call me their Lord. They will say, "We preached in your name, and in your name we forced out demons and worked many miracles." But I will tell them, "I will have nothing to do with you! Get out of my sight, you evil people!" (Mathew 7:21-23)
