I was born in Sydney and moved to Perth in the early 90's. I've been involved in the music business for 40+ years. I studied piano and musicianship at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. At the age of 12, I was competing in many singing eisteddfods and at 13, took up the guitar. At 15, I was playing lead guitar on the Sydney pub circuit.

In the early 70's I joined "Flake". At this time the band had four consecutive hits and had just released their debut album. They toured extensively up and down the eastern Australian seaboard.

In the late 70's, I teamed up with Jackie Christian to form the band "Jackie Christian and Target". We recorded at Alberts Studios in Sydney and were produced by George Young and Harry Vanda of the "Easybeats" and "Flash in the Pan" fame. At this time I played guitar, did backing vocals and played the gimmicky synth lines on Ray Burgess's top 10 national hit, "Love Fever".

In the early 80's I co-founded "Speed Limit". The band recorded for Polygram/Airborne. We released a successful single and album.

In the late 80's, I toured with many of the Australian Rock 'n' Roll shows and backed artists such as "Little Patty", "Normie Rowe", "Lonnie Lee", "Roland Storm" and "Tony Worsley". Just prior to moving to Perth, I spent six months as "Tony Worsley's" arranger and musical director.

In WA, I have toured the state as lead guitarist and vocalist with:

I also backed national artists such as "Johnny Young" and "Jeff Phillips".

In 2003, I wrote and produced the theme song for the TV 4WD documentary "Track Conditions" which was aired nationally throughout Australia. I spent 5 years playing with "Grapevine" and when I'm not working as a solo artist, I perform with my band "One Thousand". Currently, I am also playing in a Buddy Holly tribute show and am the MD for a "Mick Jagger Tribute Show".

Just recently I was asked to fill in as lead guitarist with "The Drifters" for a one week gig in Kuala Lumpur.
