I wouldn't regard the bible as being a scientific book (in the sense that God and the people who wrote it under his divine inspiration did not intend for the bible to be a book of science.) However, there are many scientific facts which were stated in the bible long before they were discovered b man. It may well be that it states scientific facts which have not been discovered yet, and one day they will be discovered.

I wouldn't say that. Now, there have been recent discoveries of artifacts that have been found that confirm Biblical passages. I would say the Bible is a scientifically accurate book. However, the Bible is not a science book. There are hundreds of scientific facts though which is quite extrordinary. There are passages in the Bible that predict things hundreds of years before they happen. Even thousands. |
