ok look at my background, tell me who this guy is?? Well this guy right here is Dimebag Darrell Lance Abbott, dimebag was first born in 1966 and he started pantra in 1981 with his brother vinnie paul known as Vince Abbott, that was when they were glam metal with terry glaze and Rex Brown, their first album made in 1983 was called metal magic when dimebag was 17 yrs old as u all know dimebag was the lead guitarist while his brother was drums, terry glaze was leadsinger and rex brown was bass, later on phil anselmo joined pantera but their second album was I am the night that came out in 1985, their third album power metal came out in 1988 then by cowboys from hell that came out in 1990, they lost terry glaze, I think because of some commerical ad or something, idk and then they found phil anselmo which in my opinion is better than terry glaze, in 1992 they came out with vulgar display of power which in my opinion is their best album they made, in 1994 they came out with far beyond driven, in 1996 they came out with the great southern trendkill, in 1998 they came out with their first live performance cd/dvd called 101 proof- offical live, in the year of 2000, their last album was reinventing the steel then in december 8th, 2004 while performing with damageplan with Alrosa Villa, dimebag was then shot by a complete psychopath who was a former marine named Nathan Gale who killed three other audience members one aged 23 another one aged 29 and another aged 40, one of the members tried to give cpr to dimebag and then one of the members picked a gun up and shot him in the chest, later the guy took hostage and shot him in the right hand/leg/side and then Gale saw a few officers in the front but there was officer niggemeyer shot the guy in the back of the head with a shotgun, nurse and audience member Mindy Reece tried to give cpr to dimebag, she and another fan gave cpr to him until paramedics came and was unable to revive him so all people, I miss dimebag, we all miss dimebag but even though I listened to pantera for about a year or two now, I feel like he's like one of my guitar brothers, all people that play guitar have dimebag darrell abbott as one of their influences, I know he's one of my influences so if u want go to my website which is dedicated to the whole band pantera, go to www.freewebs.com/panterafan111 111 and check out my videos, thanks a whole bunch for reading my profile youtube, u guys rule, send me a messgae if u want some questions anwsered or if u just want to talk, PEACE!!!, RIP DIMEBAG DARRELL LANCE ABBOTT, 1966-2004
