Hiya Steven !!!

Thanks a million for the SUB !! It's very much appreciated and hopefully my music will live up to your expectations. ♫♪ ♫♪ ♫♪ ♫♪♫ ♪♫♪

I'll be uploading some tunes over the coming days so I hope you enjoy them -- (slight delay due to tech hitches -- serious cold)

Do let me know, even if it's bad news (you can do that by PM - whisper whisper - LOL ).

If you do like them don't forget to rate them, comment and above all tell your friends......!!!!

And yes Ballads and Waltzes are great on the TW if played with flair and sensitivity.

Slán agus Gur a Maith Agit !!

Hi Steve! Glad you're enjoying the videos! To go electric, it really depends on what application you're looking at. To amplify, all you need is a nice pickup that attaches to the dulcimer in some way and then plugs into a little amp. If you're looking to *really* amplify and get some of the colors and tones associated with volume control and such, then it gets trickier - as most dulcimers are made with the acoustic in mind - you can get great blues tones out of an acoustic dulcimer if you've got the right hardware, amp, pickups, effects, etc. I've got two solidbody dulcimers for all out noise making and one shallowbody for limited feedback when performing on-stage. I still have not found the holy grail of electric dulcimers, one that sounds like a dulcimer, but really wails when you kick it up a notch. Pictures of my instruments can be found on my website at BingFutch.com - just look for "Gear". Thanks for writing - keep on playing!

Aloha,

Bing
