Several of our songs as RELIGIOUS MAN, MR. LOCO, PAPAS and BUBBLEGUM were used on the movie soundtrack to the film, "NACHO LIBRE".

In 2006, the band got a new revival, thanks to movie-director Jared Hess, who is a good friend of Beck. Beck helped out Jared with the soundtrack to his movie Nacho Libre, starring Jack Black.
And as he owned their album, (even knew the members of the band), he see it perfectly fit to use their music with the film. He used 'RELIGIOUS MAN (I am I am)' as the title song in it, and also 'BUBBLE GUM', 'MR LOCO' & 'PAPAS' to fit in the rest of the film.

Mr Loco / Mister Loco / Mr Loco Band
Formed in 1975. Mister Loco was an offshoot band established by previous members; Javier (XAVIER) Garza Alarcón, JORGE García Castil & RAFAEL Acosta from the Mexican rock band 'Los Locos Del Ritmo'.
Although the group Mister Loco was formed in 1975, individually the six members had been studying Latin American folk and modern music for fifteen years. Mister Loco was formed with a somewhat adventurous and original idea -to mix the different element of music in Latin America, to combine traditional Latin rhythms and instruments with popular music as it is now expressed internationally. And their efforts have borne exciting fruit -they have two gold records, have won seven awards for best rock group of the year and have released twelve rock LPs and four folk music LPs.
Their many concerts tours and TV performances are helping to establish them as one of Latin America's leading music influences.

They mix the different element of music in Latin America, to combine traditional Latin rhythms and instruments with popular music as it is now expressed internationally.

Varias de sus canciones como RELIGIOUS MAN(Hombre Religioso -I am I am-)y BUBBLEMGUM (Chicle Bomba) fueron usadas en el soundtrack de la pelicula NACHO LIBRE.

En 2006, el Grupo tuvo un nuevo empuje, gracias al director de cine Jared Hess, quien es un buen amigo de Beck. Beck ayudó a Jared con la música de su película NACHO LIBRE, protagonizada por Jack Black. Como él tenia el Album de Mr Loco, observa como encaja perfectamente para usarla musica en el filme. El usó "HOMBRE RELIGIOSO" como la canción principal en la película, así como también usó "BUBBLEGUM" y "PAPAS" que encajaron perfectamente en el resto del filme.

Formado en 1975. Mister Loco esta formado por algunos ex-integrantes del grupo mexicano "Los Locos del Ritmo"; Javier (Xavier) Garza Alarcón, Jorge García Castil y Rafael Acosta.

El Grupo Mr. Loco fue formado en 1973. Cada uno de los miembros invididualmente habían estudiado por quince años Folklor Latinoamericano y musica moderna.

Mr Loco fue formado con la novedosa y original idea de mezclar diferentes elementos de la música en Latino America, para convinar los tradicionales ritmos e instrumentos Latinos con música popular como es ahora, dandose a conocer internacionalmente.

Sus esfuerzos dieron excelentes frutos ya que ganaron dos discos de oro, tienen siete premios como el mejor grupo de rock del año y sacaron al público doce LPs con música de Rock y cuatro con música Folcklorica.
Sus muchas giras y presentaciones en TV los ayudaron a establecerse como los líderes con más influcencia de música Latino Americana.

Ellos mezclan direrentes elementos de música Latinoamericana y los combinan con música popular expresandose ahora a nivel internacional.
