Another original inpired by a movie. That is so typical me lol What a big cliche':) I've "named" my song after this movie - *AWAY FROM HER* It's a song about the little things and the big things in life and everything in between but mostly it's about love. It's about a husband losing his wife to alzheimers and how they both deal with the desease in different ways. It's also about a womans race against time and her fight to remain "normal" and to remember her husband and her life with him. My song is written mostly from the husbands perspective - the outsider who look at his wife dissapearing into a world were he can't reach her in the same way he did before. It's a sad, but also in many ways uplifting movie about losing love and finding it again when you least expect it..."It's never too late to become the person you could have been" I'm not even sure if I would call this a song...it's more of a story with backgroundmusic...I don't know...You tell me...I just hope it will speak to some of you out there one way or another, even those who haven't seen this movie yet...Oh yeah I had to cut the intro and the ending a little because this recording was around 11 minutes or so....Yup that's me playing harmonica, acoustic guitar and singing:)
