Spring Recital 2008
This recital includes ALL of my non-adult students (ages 5-16). My young beginners play duets with me. As students progress they play more solo pieces. I think this helps develop a sense of rhythm as well as balance between melody and harmony even when the child can only technically handle playing the melody. Duet playing also provides a sense of security during performance. |
