His landmark internet tribute to Koji Kondo's Super Mario Brothers theme instantly turned vast attention to video game music performed on the solo piano. He played on the first Video Games Live at the Hollywood Bowl and continues on the show's world tour on 4 continents, with other appearances at the Game Developers Conference and Penny Arcade. At 16 Martin soloed at Carnegie Hall's New York Youth Orchestra Festival and with the Pittsburgh Symphony on "From the Top." He is an Oberlin International Piano Competition prizewinner, a Fellow of the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival, and First Prize winner at the Los Angeles Philharmonic Kaper Awards, and has been featured in Steinway & Sons, Nintendo Power, Cleveland Plain Dealer, and on MTV Overdrive, to name a few honors. Martin is a Dean's List student at the Cleveland Institute of Music and performs at Pianofest in the Hamptons.
