Originally formed in 2002, Kevin Goes 2 College reached its final and current lineup on May 2003 and has hence matured immensely, becoming a big part of the San Antonio live music community. After recording their first 7-song EP during Christmas/New Year '03/04, they self-released their debut EP "Always Never The Same" on June '04 to hundreds of fans, selling over one hundred copies on the date of release, and eventually selling out of copies. The band later re-released their EP under Skarnival Music/ Hairball8 Records on March 2005, performing to over five hundred people in attendance, and launching "Always Never The Same" further in the Texas and national ska scene.
The band has also toured throughout 5 states in the Southeast US, 5 states in Southwestern US, and regularly plays shows around Texas. Awards include winning a weekly radio contest put on by local radio station MIX 96.1, as well as appearing in the top five best local ska bands in the Edge Magazine both in '03 and '04.
