Compare the situation that the Soviets fought the Taliban.
The Taliban were helped by the West, Arabs and China while today Talibans are hated by everyone. When the USSR helped Vietnam.. you know what happened. American Policemen die everyday yet that doesn't mean you win the war on crime or anything like that. Russian soldiers are like policemen that gets killed by Criminals. |

Russia has won the war, losing a few soldiers a month or even losing our entire army won't change the fact that the main and only objective of the war has been accomplished. Regaining control of Chechnya. We won. American people die every day thanks to the inefficience of the police and military to control the crime. From Immigration to Drug trafficking. Russia does what it wants with Chechnya.
Iraq its destroying itself while the american puppets cannot do anything. Iraq will be shared between Syria and Iran once america leaves. Did it worth the price of 1 million people dead? But Russia losing 14k soldiers or even 1 million soldiers, controls Chechnya. Casualties dont matter, Results does. |
