Ancient Macedonia is Greek history, the ancient Macedonians were ancient Greeks just like the Spartans or the Athenians.
Only some of the Greeks are Macedonians.
The new country of FYROM-Skopje that claims our name (the last 15-20 years) populated from Slavic tribes that are NOT Macedonians(GREEKS) like me!
Slavs can't be Macedonians they came from northern Europe at 700AD approximately 1.600 years after the ancient Macedonians existence and 1.000 whole years after Alexander the Great.
Besides nowadays, the ancient Macedonia land is in Greece(in Real Macedonia), visit Greece and you will see, Alexander's birthplace in Pella, the royal Macedonian tombs in Vergina(where Alexander's father Philip II was buried), the museum at ancient Aegae (the royal capital of ancient Macedon) and etc...
On the other hand the land of the today new Slavic country north of Greece that claim the name Macedonia at ancient times called Paionia and NOT Macedonia.
The ancient Macedonian land at the modern countries in percentages ... In Greece (95%), Bulgaria (1%), Albania(2%), FYROM-Skopje(2%) That are the percentages before Alexander's expedition because after...the entire ancient world was under him.

When the ancient historian or the ancient biographers writes that Alexander said something, they mean that he actually said it. Many soldiers that were later freed of duty wrote books and biographies. What they say is what we take as truth! Just because they wrote it 3000 years ago! When some stupid FYROM-Slavs, 3000 years later wrote that Macedonia was not Greece doesn't mean that his word is equally important. Historical facts are the things that happened then and the reports of ancient Historians and Biographers. Historical facts are NOT the distortion that the FYROM-Slavs try to believe in the 20th century, as a way of existence in their unknown historical traces.
