I made the switch in June 2006, with a MacBook. My PC was dying on me and I really desired a laptop next, for a number of reasons: it would save space, it would be much quieter and should it need to be fixed, I would be able to bring it to for repair on my own (don't have a car.) I then read a Mac vs PC-thread on a forum I visit and I knew then and there that what I needed was a Mac! Reliable hardware, no viruses, easy to use... sounded too good to be true! But it wasn't: it was only true :D

This film has inspired me to really get to know the history behind these two companies. Fascinating stuff! In some ways I've got nothing against Microsoft being such a force in software market because at least it gives Apple a virus-free environment to make their stuff better still... Mircosoft takes all the shit and Apple can laugh behind its big, fat back. So you see, Bill, it "does" matter. :D

Err, you can install extra programs in a Mac, as well as upgrade the hard-drive, memory and processor... Anything else that needs to be upgraded?? Also, please don't try to imply that Windows-based PCs are PRACTICAL. Unless you are joking LOL
