Hi, just wanted to say I have aspergers syndrome aswell. I was diagnosed when I was 16½ years old.

I have Aspergers syndrome as well, I wasn't even officailly diagnosed until I was 17 years old.
If it wasn't for us Aspergers and Autistic people, mankind would probably still be living like cavemen! |

Thanks for sharing the documentary about aspergers. It is very insightful!

Hey. Closet aspie here (I've developed enough that I can hide my tendencies pretty well) and an American-Irish. I thought the documentary was excellent, and what you've done with your life only dignifies people who work with what we have all the more. On a goofy side note, you also have the Death Star Canteen in your favorites! Thought I was the only one... :)

Hi I am an Aspie and I was diagnosed at the age of 13 (I am currently 14). I also am engaged with the subject of geology and also have passion with IT (building and fixing computers). I was and still am being bullied at school, although I have a select group of friends (we are the "nerds"). I am very happy to hear your story on that documentary. : )

Hi. I found the documentary about AS interesting. I've been having trouble at work and my boss has strongly urged me to be evaluated for Attention Deficit Disorder, although my problem my be more the result of failing to catch nuance in his instructions and a slight boredom in my work (I'm an attorney). He's been puzzled for months why it seems like I can write and speak at great detail about theoretical minutiae, but why I can't get basic stuff done and can't interact well with clients over the telephone.
My stepmother, a pediatrician, got wind of this and told me "Jim, I've had a suspicion for several years that you might have a 'mild' case of Asperger Syndrome." This revelation, needless to say, has sparked a desire to learn more. |
