The source of any -melted- metal could be sourced from: gold, copper, aluminum, yttrium, zinc silver, lithium, cadmium, lead and tin (solder or lead-batteries) to name but a very, very small number that can be listed. Melted metal does NOT just equal steel. |

Incorrectly though. The frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum CANNOT be ACCURATELY analyzed from that footage. A body with a temperature of 1220F (Al melting point) corresponds to an λ peak of 3105.61nm (nanometers). Standard digital cameras record wavelengths of only 400-750nm. (Those used by news crews and amatuers.) Funny, the USGS showed thermal images 5 days after that were consistent to melting Al. |
