As far as the story goes, the game takes place a year after the events of Crash of the Titans. Dr. Cortex is forced by Uka Uka to team up with his old partner and enemy, Dr. Nitrus Brio in order to get his status as head boss back. Together the two have created IPhone like divices that are capable of transmitting bad mojo into whatever bandicoot or titan uses it. When everyone on the island used the divice, they became slaves of the evil Doctors, and now Crash and Coco, who are not affected by the divice, must save the day, and destroy the main power source of the divices.
