On Monday (May 19th 2008) metal madness hit the Bay Area as the third annual Gigantour came to town-- this year's lineup featured veteran metal gods Megadeth, the Swedish metal band In Flames, melodic-death metal thrashers Children Of Bodom, deathcore pioneers Job For A Cowboy, and the stoner-doom metal band High On Fire.
After meeting and greeting Megadeth, the Bay Area Backstage crew caught up with Bodom's Alexi Laiho (guitar/vox) and Janne Warman (keyboard) for an exclusive on-location interview at the San Jose State University event center. Even though the Bodom dudes have a pretty busy schedule, Alexi and Janne were still willing to give up a few minutes of their time to discuss their experience on Gigantour, upcoming tour dates in the United States and abroad, the success of their latest album "Blooddrunk", and their new-found appreciation for Jesus & Journey.
Being the big Bodom fan that I am, I had a really fun time talking with the "Booze Brothers"-- I hope that you guys enjoy the interview as much as I did!

Modern day Scandinavians migrated north from the east of the Caucasus, Aserbaijan (Azerbaijan/Caucasian Albania) in prehistoric times. According to Icelandic Sagas, written in the 13th century, the Norse God Odin migrated from the east of the Caucasus, from Aserbaijan in the first century AD.
Heyerdahl concluded that Azerbaijan and not northern Europe was the center from which the Caucasian people spread so that Chinese archaeologists would find their 4000 years old remains buried in northwestern China. He based that conclusion on early Norwegian sagas written down by the Icelander, Snorre Sturlason, before his death in 1241, (Snorri, The Sagas of the Viking Kings of Norway. English translation: J. -Paganism is an umbrella term for any religion except for Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.
-Paganism is not a religion in and of itself.
-Atheism is not a pagan religion, since atheism is not a religion.
-Philosophies are not religions, and hence, not a part of paganism.
-Paganism is not only for polytheistic nature religions.
That's the essence of this video anyway. Just... with music and a pretty picture in the background.
