Pesky Bee is an amazingly creative piece of work that reveals the numerous influences at play in young movie-makers.
First, the producers try to chase the bee out of the house the humane way -- by chasing it out windows or doors.
When that doesn't work, they try the slambam approach with rolled newspaper.
That too fails, and they revert to the Wild West -- shooting the beast with bullets, a friend falling as collateral damage. Blazing bees!
The young folk steered clear of the usual cure for annoying buzzers -- they did not spray pesticide in the house, where the chemicals could and would affect air, furniture and people.
A deep look at Pesky Bee shows a lot more than insectiphobia.
